072 – Wednesday Box Alarm – Mentorship Series

This week’s Wednesday Box Alarm comes to you a little late. Because of the holiday season, we will not be on schedule for the next week or so. But, what we are going to do is a series of episodes geared toward mentorship. Mentorship is critical in the fire service. Everyone can be a mentor and everyone most likely has had a mentor. So, to kick this series off we want you to go to our facebook page and find the post about Mentorship. In the comments list three people who have mentored you over the years. Tag them if they are on Facebook or just list their names if they are not or no longer with us. But, list the names and after each name write a brief explanation of how they mentored you. Once you do that, the next thing we want you to do is thank those individuals for their mentorship. Whether it is in person, on the phone, text, email, social media post or whatever…if they are still with us in this amazing world, let them know how much you appreciate their mentorship.

070 – Wednesday Box Alarm – Training Ideas?

This week’s Wednesday Box Alarm was inspired by the DTFF Down to Fight Fire Volunteer Firefighter’s Podcast. They are always showing their training ideas in videos and talking about their training evolutions in their podcast episodes. It inspired me to create a form for you all to submit and share your creative and your routine training evolutions for the other’s to see and execute in their own agency.
