047 – How is your Attitude?
This episode hits on a few places where attitude in the fire department needs to be addressed. It is easy to get wrapped up in the negative attitudes around the fire station. Especially as firefighters, we are constantly exposed to tragic situations. One of our biggest goals in the volunteer and on-call fire service is firefighter retention. We need to be focusing on how to make sure our members that we have right now won’t walk away from our organization. A lot of it comes down to attitude.
